You can never have enough washcloths.I got these for my face washing routine and they work quite well. It is really nice to have a whole week's worth of cloths, so they are always fresh and clean without worrying over setting up additional laundry days or anything fussy.PROS:-Inexpensive. (I got the 10 pack for ~$6-7)-Small. (I don't need a big cloth for my face. The small size is actually more convenient for washing. The size also means they take up less space in a bathroom. Yay!)-Thin, but absorbent. (Again, thin is nice for my face cloth. They dry quickly, so they are much less likely to build up germs from morning to night if I use one twice in a day. Sometimes I do, and they are dry as a bone by the second use. Yet, even while thin they hold plenty of face-cleaning product, or water for rinsing.)-Scrubby side and soft side. (Unlike normal washcloths, these are terry looped on one side and a t-shirty sort of weave on the other. The terry side is softly exfoliating and the woven side is even more gentle.)-Environmentally-friendly. (Although I wish they were 100% cotton - I failed to check when I bought them - these are great because I am reusing them instead of using disposable face scrubbing products. I've liked them because they were clean and helped my skin, which needs constant exfoliating, but I hated buying them and throwing them away.)-Cute. (The colors and patterns are cute, but understated. Soft citrus colors, plus dots and stripes = cute, not babyish. So they could easily be used for baby, or not, depending on your needs.)CONS:-Curly edges after washing. (As explained above, these are small and on the thin side. The edges curl after laundering, but I find this is not a big deal to me. I smooth and fold them with my hands and store them away for later use. When they are wet, they aren't curly anymore anyway!)-Inexpensive finish. (The edges are not lightly finished. The cloths have stood up to a half-dozen washings so far, just fine, but someday I may need to mend the edges if the seams come undone, so the cloth doesn't fray. Not a big deal for me, especially for how inexpensive it was to grab this little set.)Overall I am happy with this purchase and would most likely buy again, especially at this price point.Original Review:Surprisingly, these washcloths are not just for babies. I bought them strictly for my face. I have sensitive skin and my face really can't handle hard materials (like regular washcloths). They are great for washing your face and removing face masks. No matter how hard you scrub, the washcloth will get the job done without being harsh to delicate skin. Also, after you wash and dry them, they are still soft and stainless.For a 10 pack, the price is cheaper than the normal 7 or 8 pack ($5.99 as of January 2011). And the material holds up really well compared to some similar priced/cheaper quality brands. I'm very pleased!Edited Review:I'm still pleased with the wash cloths and it's almost 1 year later. Some of the wash cloths have hardened a little, but still hold up well. Once wet, they're still pretty soft. But again, I use them for my face only, so I have no idea how well they would stand up if used more often or for other purposes. I wash the cloths on gentle cycle, never with other clothes and I dry them on the lowest possible setting. Sometimes I just let them air dry, depending on the day.Overall, they're worth purchasing because I'm still a happy camper! By the way, other reviews often help me learn about a product before purchasing. One reviewer said that the washcloths were not absorbent...but they are if you run them under water for more than 5 seconds. Just a heads up because they work wonderfully!Edit 2:Now it’s been about 10 years. I still love them! They do stain if you let them sit though! But overall, I’m still pleased! I never give reviews a 5 star, like EVER because nothing is perfect! But these are an exception because I can’t find anything to complain about. I haven’t bought a new pack in 3 years so it’s possible quality has gone down but based on the product I have, they’re great! The colors are bright and are genderneutral.We cloth diaper and use these for our wipes. We use Baby Bits, dissolve the cubes in water, soak these wash cloths in the mixture and store them in a wipe warmer. Its so perfect! These wash cloths are soft enough for everyday use but heavy duty enough for blow outs. We bought 2 more sets! Highly recommendThese would be perfect if they were softer and thicker. I use them for bath time but now I am wondering if maybe them being thinner would be better if I started using them as wipes. I have about 2 packs of these and they are my thinnest washcloths but they dry quickly and they retain their shape and color after multiple washes. And for the price you really cant go wrong. If your child has sensitive skin or if your bathing a newborn you might want to buy washcloths that are thicker and softer. Having 2 packs of these and multiple other types of washcloths I can say that we NEVER run through them from one wash to the next.. Which is about a week, or a week and half with baths every day. I think these would be perfect for bottom wiping... which im going to start next diaper change so lets see how it goesShrinkageupdate: its been 4 months since i bought them still in love, i had a baby a month ago, so i got another set they're so convenient. now ordering my 3rd set for my germophobic mum loli bought these for my personal use as i use clothes to shower so i can wash it after one use and bacteria doesn't grow on the usual loofa, the size is amazing, one side is softer than the other side and that's a plus for me, not too soft (soft enough for a baby if you're wondering) and not too hard.. colors are cute tooThe quality of these washcloths definitely leaves something to be desired. As we only use them as pee-protecting cloths for our little boy during diaper changes (as you never know when a geyser will take you by surprise), these cloths work great for that. However, they are not very soft, so much so that I wouldn't use them to wash baby. For pee cloths though, they serve the purpose, but that's all I would buy them for. Mais elle sont très jolies, belles couleurs, absorbantes, et sèchent rapidement.I was looking for some cheap colourful cloths to use just at meal time for my one year old as the white bamboo baby cloths I had were getting discoloured. These are smaller and thinner than I expected, even though I recall some reviews saying that, but they do the trick for my purposes and seem to wash out wellThese wash cloths have been good to us. After 3 months, they are still holding up well. They are a bit larger than other ones we’ve purchased. Will be buying more!
