I love these gel remover wraps. They are the best, easy to use and you can use only 5 wraps for both hands, by doing one hand at a time. I've use the cotton balls, acetone n foil wraps but they won't keep the cotton on the nail cause it's not tight enough. And cotton n gel polish or any polish for that matter just doesn't work well together, no matter how much u wash your hands pieces of cotton will get into your next mani unless you go a few days in between mani's.What I do is use pure acetoneI put Vaseline on the skin around my nails so the acetone doesn't dry them out. Than I soak each wrap pad with the acetone and place it on. I also wrap them with foil to keep the acetone from evaporating n drying before the 10 to 15 minutes is up, if you don't do this you will have to add more acetone after about 5 mins. You could also use rubber gloves as well but I use foil n just keep reusing the foil over until it's pretty much falling apart lol. Let soak 10 to 15 minutes. Than I push down on my nail and work it side to side a few times, than I pull it off. Most, if not all of the gel polish will be gone, to remove the remaineder I use a wood cuticle stick n slide the rest off. Than I do the same on the other hand reusing the wraps n foil. Go ahead buy them you won't be disappointed :-)*Updated... These seem great by the looks, bought them months ago but yet to try since I don't have any remover... Shouldn't have assumed but reading in the description, regarding soaking, I thought they'd include nail polish remover. Nope. Just the pads and an empty bottle as a bonus...Now to research the best remover for at home gel nails. Sigh. Happy polishing, remember to pick-up some remover too though!ETA- Here is the remover I ordered and would recommend. Very effective for gel nails and was priced competitively when I ordered it, No offense against the manufacturer - I don't like these. I prefer soaking my gel polish off by soaking directly in warmed acetone because acetone feels very cold at room temperature. My fingers froze using these. I put pure acetone in a glass bowl just small enough to fit your fingers, and place that bowl in a larger bowl of hot water, which heats the acetone, soak for a while and scrape off the gel polish or acrylic with a cuticle stick (metal or wood) or wipe off with a paper towel. This method works better for me without the additional expense of soak-off tips. These work great to remove gel polish, you must be sure to soak well and wrap tight enough to work on removing the polish. I use a cuticle pusher to then work it off gently as it's pretty much ready to come off. I like these as I can avoid soaking my cuticle and just the polish since you can wrap them as you like. After one attempt at foil-and-cotton ball method of gel polish removal, I switched to these nail wraps. They are little cotton squares sewn on self-adherent (Coban-type) strips. The strips are easy to apply--I had no trouble even with all my other fingers wrapped--and they stay put much better than foil. They are the best way to get the polish off after a pedicure, too.Is great and comes in small packages.....when you first open it you kind of wonder if it will work well with the sticking part, and it does just great! I'm about to place an order for more!Work well, pads are thick. Be careful not to wrap too tightly as this material can and will tighten with movement. All the pictures show that it comes with wooden sticks (or at least one) but it doesn't come with any. Which I find to be deceptivr packaging /marketing.These nail wraps make removing shellac polish so much easier. Foil is hard to work with and these wraps are sticky, which makes them a breeze to wrap around the nails. Well worth the money!
